Some Ideas for Catalogue Content

Initial Print for Front Cover

Mock up print onto bulky newsprint showing the colour scheme and black and white print as well. I included an image of the colour categorisation of the products, although the colours will potential change as they clash with the page colour separators.

Front Cover

I wanted to include the idea of the world within my design as it is aimed for people who are cycling all over the world. The initial colour scheme is based on the Olympic rings as that is something that can be related to all the continents through different colours. 

From the initial bright vibrant colours I have looked at using tints of these colours which gave a softer pastel colour, more subtle. I experimented with the various positions of the world map, the logo and the issue year of the catalogue and came up with a layout the I was happy with.

Basic Mockup Prints

Just a couple of experiments with different sized type, underling the text and different typefaces. I also placed a box behind the image.

Outlines For Catalogue Images

Outlines that I traced round for the images in my catalogue. I wanted to keep it simple with clean vectorised illustrations.
