Typeface brief direction

From the logo that I created for my Wordiverse brief that has changed direction I wanted to create a whole set of letters in a similar style. Originally the idea came from reducing the typeface Akzidenz Grotesk, taking the central point from each stroke of each letter form and drawing a line. In result this is where the basis for the Wordiverse logo came from.


As that brief has changed direction and I have dropped the idea of creating an exhibition for dying languages and focusing more on alternate foreign languages for English readers of The Guardian.
