I started off using a simple vector that I traced round from a photograph and imposed it on an IPhone, the idea behind the loading screen was that it would be animated so that the glass fills up as the app loads up. These images are very flat and what I need to experiment with is creating the illusion that they are three dimensional.
I am going to go for more vibrant colours (neon) on a dark background.
