I wanted to include the idea of the world within my design as it is aimed for people who are cycling all over the world. The initial colour scheme is based on the Olympic rings as that is something that can be related to all the continents through different colours. 

From the initial bright vibrant colours I have looked at using tints of these colours which gave a softer pastel colour, more subtle. I experimented with the various positions of the world map, the logo and the issue year of the catalogue and came up with a layout the I was happy with.
